Location: Letchworth Garden City and Wooburn Green, High Wycombe – hybrid working (2 days in the office, 3 days from home)
Travel: Occasional travel to our Wooburn Green, High Wycombe office
Contract: 6 – 9 month fixed term contract
Hours: 37 hours per week

We’re now looking for a creative, organised and enthusiastic Communications Coordinator to help us share our story with colleagues, residents and stakeholders.
About the Role
As our Communications Coordinator, you’ll support the Communications team to plan, create and deliver engaging content across a wide range of channels. You’ll help ensure colleagues and residents receive clear, timely and accessible communications that reflect our brand and support our strategic priorities.
You’ll work across written, visual and video formats, supporting everything from newsletters and social media to website content, campaigns and corporate publications. You’ll also play a key role in major projects including our new intranet, new brand and new customer‑facing website.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys storytelling, content creation and working collaboratively with teams across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the delivery of engaging communications content across digital and offline channels
Help manage internal and external communication platforms including social media, newsletters and the website
Write, proof and edit copy for a range of audiences, championing Plain English
Support the design and production of corporate publications including annual reports
Produce analytics reports to help shape future content and measure engagement
Build strong relationships across teams to support effective communication
Support projects such as the new intranet, new brand and new customer website
Provide administrative support including raising purchase orders and managing subscriptions
Contribute to the full range of Communications team activities
What We’re Looking For
Must haves:
At least one year’s experience in a communications role
Experience planning and delivering communication activities or campaigns
Experience managing social media channels and engaging online communities
Ability to create content across multiple formats including written, visual and video
Awareness of accessible, inclusive and transparent communication principles
Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with colleagues at all levels
Basic design skills (e.g. InDesign, Photoshop, Canva, Biteable, filming and editing)
Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
Ability to handle confidential or sensitive information with integrity
Willingness to learn new digital tools and support others in using them
Self‑motivated, proactive and able to work independently or as part of a team
Willingness to attend occasional evening or weekend events
Nice to haves:
Understanding of the housing sector and regulatory environment
Experience using WordPress or Interact CMS
Degree in communications, journalism or marketing
Membership of IPR, IoIC, CIPR or equivalent

Working Hours
37 hours per week
Monday to Thursday 09:00 to 17:30
Friday 09:00 to 17:00
Hybrid working with 2 days per week in the office
