Multi Trade Operative (Plumbing bias)
Permanent: 42.5 hours per week
Salary: £41,326 (From the 1st of April) + Excellent Benefits
Included: Van & Fuel Card for business usage.
The role: You will provide a high quality maintenance service across our homes, carrying out responsive repairs, void works and planned maintenance. This role is field based, working across our operating area, supporting customers in both occupied and vacant properties.

About The Role
As a Multi Skilled Operative, you’ll be part of our Homes and Maintenance team, delivering high quality repairs and maintenance to our customers’ homes. You’ll work across a range of trade disciplines, ensuring repairs are completed safely, professionally and to a high standard. You’ll be a visible representative of SettleParadigm, working closely with Customer Services, Property, Service Control and the Customer Hub to deliver a seamless and positive customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver responsive repairs, void works and planned maintenance across a range of trade disciplines
Demonstrate strong competency in plumbing
Carry out plastering, tiling and flooring works to a high standard
Complete bathroom and kitchen refits in both occupied and unoccupied homes
Follow all health and safety policies, procedures and codes of practice
Ensure PPE is worn and used appropriately at all times
Accurately estimate materials required and manage stock responsibly
Complete all paperwork and job information in the prescribed manner
Conduct weekly vehicle checks and maintain vehicle cleanliness
Report vehicle defects promptly
Work collaboratively as part of a multi-functional team
What We’re Looking For
Must haves:
A recognised building or trade qualification in Plumbing.
Experience in plastering, tiling and laying floors
Experience working in domestic properties, including bathroom and kitchen refits
Strong understanding of health and safety within the building industry
Ability to work efficiently with excellent attention to detail
Good IT skills
Full clean UK driving licence
Willingness to participate in the out-of-hours standby rota
Nice to haves:
Experience working within social housing
Ability to work confidently in both occupied and void properties

Working Hours & Additional Pay
Hours and working pattern 42.5 hours per week, working across our operating area with flexibility required to meet customer needs. Hours: 08:00 - 17:30 Monday - Friday.
Participation in out-of-hours rota, with potential to boost base salary.
